Divine Monarchia

Divine Monarchia is an "offshoot" of the Divine Empire, even if both hate each other with a passion. Once a part of the Divine Empire, now controls a large portion of western part of the Old World. The Goldbloods treat other races with more respec that their counterparts in the Divine Empire and see themselves as true successors to the once-great nation. Their close neighbor, Lepidia, is said to be in a form of alliance with them as Divine Monarchia takes over many surrounding small countries, either by force or politically, to join their great nation.

History

Divine Monarchia was once part of the Divine Empire in the Third Age, Kingdoms. These lands were controlled by Crown Prince Loius DeGulle as his Duchy was the strongest in the region of the Grey Coast. Sadly, when the Fourth Age, The Calamity hit, these lands were shattered by constant tsunamis and attacks from the Icons. The would never recover, until the Fifth Age, Current Age dawned. Many nations rejected the rule of the Divine Empire and with it the House of DeGulle. They established themselves pretty quickly and forcefully joined the neighboring duchies, centuries later other countries forming the Divine Monarchia. The nobility believes themselves as true successors to the kingdom and with the coming of The Second Divergence, it became more apparent for them that the Divine Empire isn't the rightful rulers of the Old World.
