Yoshin
The famous sorcerer-emperor of Shidarezakura, who offered the people security with his Terracota Army, a massive force of Golems (or Warforged, nobody knows for sure) called the Yoshimin. He built a giant wall, saving many great clans from civil wars and inner conflict, barred all communication and trade, as well as cast a powerful spell turning the seas around the islands into fire. Yoshin ruled for centuries, starting in the Fourth Age, The Calamity until his downfall at the start of Fifth Age, Current Age, when the great clans revolted and killed him. With his death, the fires went out but people still didn't want to do anything with the outside. His army of constructs scattered, nobody knows if he had more plans for them.
