Emergence Race: Warforged

The warforged are made of stone, metal and wood fibres. The core of a warforged is a skeletal frame made of metal and stone with wood fibres acting as a muscular system. Covering the warforged is an outer shell of metal and stone plates. An internal network of tubes run through the warforged's body, these tubes are filled with a blood like fluid that is designed to lubricate and nourish their systems. Their hands have only two thick fingers and a thumb whilst their feet only have two broad toes. The warforged's face loosely resembles their human creators though they have a toothless jaw, heavy brow line and are lacking noses and hair. Each warforged has a ghulra engraved upon their foreheads. Each of these runes are unique to the warforged giving them a sense of individuality. The warforged have a sexless form and are considered to be mono-gender. The warforged are able to be repaired and modified by artificers or even themselves giving them an endless possibility to their appearances.   They started their journey in the Archadian Empire, when the wizards of the nation needed servants and guards. Thanks to the invention of the Arcanite, it became easy to mass-produce these creatures that were named The Forged. Serving loyally their masters, they mostly were constructs for mundane tasks, and over time they were given more complicated ones. When the empire was being destroyed, at the start of the Fourth Age, The Calamity, the race was changed magically by their masters. They needed forces against the Icons and The Forged became The Warforged. Soldiers created en masse to fight the Iconian Empire. In order to gain the best warriors, most were imbued with personalities, thanks to the invention of the rune ghulra (some say it was stolen from the giant god Stronmaus or given by his lover Iallanis). The next turn for the race came after the empire was completely destroyed with their continent of Archeron, turning into the Archeon Islands. The race was free, their bonds shattered, and finally the individuals they wanted to become. While on the islands there are many ancient Warforged, more are found on those islands or underwater as not all of them were active in the war, asleep for centuries.

On Tethys

The warforged created their first nation in the Fifth Age, Current Age, the Freedom Isle, which cities are one of the unique sights, even to some exquisite races. They hate to be enslaved and rarely take on oaths or promises, remembering times they didn't have a choice. Also, there are stories of Warforged-like creatures that exist on Tethys, either from the city of Quadropolis or those from the islands of Shidarezakura, known as the Yoshimin.

First World

It is said that the city of Quadropolicreated a few creatures similar to the Warforged. One such being was given a task to become the champion of the world, wandering all around and fighting in many arenas.
