"In the boundless library of life, where knowledge is the sacred torch, and Orun, the god of wisdom, watches over us, we must remember that enlightenment is not the privilege of the few, but the birthright of the everyman. To serve and work together, to share the bounty of knowledge, is our divine calling. In unity, we transcend the shadows of ignorance, illuminating the path for all to tread. For it is not by the brilliance of a single star that we conquer the night, but by the constellations of hearts and minds, joined in a celestial dance of understanding and compassion."It is unknown where Jadifar was born, but if you asked a citizen of Tyria they would tell you that it doesn't matter. One man incited the passion of many to strive for a better life and a better world, not just for themselves, but "for the everyman." What does it matter where he came from or what he did before then? He is guided by Orun, and his wisdom created an empire, who could stand to judge him? In the time before the founding of Tyria it's said that the peoples of Tethys had been pushed to the edges of the continent by beasts and creatures of the night that emerged not long after the creation of The Schism. Jadifar preached day and night of the need for everyone to recognize the need within their soul that this land denied them by creatures unnatural was theirs by right. He launched a military campaign with the support of the Subet and the few who live in The Deadlands. They fought under a banner that had an eye with rays of light emanating from it, a representation of Jadifar's creed, "I'm guided by Orun, there is nothing I cannot see!" It was a grueling but surprisingly short campaign that lasted only a decade. After cleansing the land, he focused solely on rebuilding and reclamation efforts. After claiming the fertile land near Rainy lake for the capital he called Arx, he set numerous plans in motion. He quickly began construction of two major educational institutions, the Arcane University and the School of Practicums, with the goal to arm those living and yet to be born with the knowledge and ability to protect their birthright. His death arrived in 1418 at the age of 84, but he was succeded by his son, Jadifar II.
