The Conflict

Prelude

Teutonia had always had a tense relationship with its neighbours in the north and south. Norsca had a long history of raiding Teutonia one minute whilst being thier allies the next. However by 1096 tensions had rose between the two nations once agian, this time over territory.
In 1096 Albion had been devastated by a demon named the Nything, who had sunk thier city of York. The Nations gather in Norsca for the renewal of magics in August of the same year. Here the nations were attacked by the Nythings demons who had gained control of the Ritual Circle and demanded blood sacrifices for ever use of the circle.
It was believed that performing the ritual of Renewal would help contain the Nything and his demonic minions. While the Nything appeared to be confined as a threat, the tensions between the Wolves and Vipers flared and they fought against each other.
