The Siege of Odessa
The Siege of Odessa, also known as the War of Odessa or the War for Odessa, was a military operation that took place within the city-state of Odessa in 1120. It was faught between the Warhost of Teutonia and the Oblivion Pact, a group of survivors and demons that rallied under the banner of Gissel Von Murmansk. The warhosts goal was to reestablish control of the deep sea port after it fell to the forces of King Sable a few years prior, and had no prior knowledge of the Oblivion Pact. The only knowledge that the warhost had was that demons occupied the area, and that a currently deactivated obelisk that was planeted by Sable's armies sat in the middle of the ruined city. This obelisk had the power to allow demons to freely cross over from the plane of demonology and in the warhost eyes, had to be destroyed.
