Aegisfrost Reservoir

To the west of Valdon, the large lake named Aegisfrost Reservoir is located. It's a large lake that later leads out to the ocean with a river, and it gets it's water from the Sentinel, the mountain range north of Valdon. Most of the year it's frozen over, and only over the high summer it's melting.
The Fishers of the Fishermen's Guild have figured how to cute through the ice and fish through those holes during the winter, and fish from the shore during the summer.
The lake has been used as an ally to the Knights of the Everfrost, as they have figured out how to shoot boulders from catapults and trebuchets to crack the ice and make things fall through. This tactic has been used many times to stop oncoming hordes of monsters charging towards Valdon.
It also serves as a trade route during summers when the ice melts, letting boats come in and out of Valdon with large shipments of goods that lasts them though the long winters.
