Valdon, City-Fortress of the Knights of the Everfrost
Valdon is a majestic city-fortress nestled in the southeastern reaches of the land of Etheron Luth, surrounded by a stark and unforgiving landscape, it's nestled within the unforgiving embrace of the frozen wastelands. But it's not only the location of the city that makes Valdon unique, it's citizens and the way the fortress is built makes it a truly unique place in both Etheron Luth and Cannia. The defenses which has been built throughout the years have made this city-fortress a true challenge to siege. Surronded by the Magmashield Bastions, the volcanic black rock wall.
To the north, the northen sentinel. A range of snow-capped mountains functioning as a near impassable shield from larger threats approaching from the north.
Aegisfrost Reservoir, the frozen lake to the west which has been weponized as a layer of defense. Trebuchets aimed towards the lake loaded with large rocks to break the ice and trap any approaching threat under the thick layer of ice.
And the heart of the city, Everfrost Keep. Rising from the middle of the city, a grand citadel made out of volcanic rock. Everfrost Keep holds the guarding knights of Valdon, Knights of the Everfrost.
And the threats that all this is built for, to the east beyond Valdon, the desolate expande. A frozen desolate wastelands, home to untold amounts of monsters, which the Knights of the Everfrost shields the citizens from.
The things the people of Valdon grows are mainly used for food, but lately both the Beer and Wine industry has grown and become quite large. Being able to find new ways to make drinks taste differently, that fits different times of the year has been the joy of many sitting inside their homes during the darkness of winter.
Now Valdon export both beer and wine to the other cities in Etheron Luth, and also do their best to import tastes from the warmer regions.
If they seek some time closer to their gods, the Cathedral of Eternal Frost is a great place to visit, and for entertainment you can visit the The Dome of Winter.
