The League of Coin

The League of Coin is a multi-city guild of merchants, traders, and capital generators that self organize and regulate trade, the generation of wealth, and innovation across most of the eastern seaboard of Allidech. 
Based in the Red Jewel, the primary guild hall of the League is known to members as the Golden Halls, but is more colloquially known as Coin Mountain to the more common folk. It's home to the Ledgerial Archive and the Coin Hoard, the two largest sources behind the weight the League holds over the merchant trade. 
For members of the League, life is fairly simple and easy, with the League offering advertisement assistance and funding for new construction whenever they move to expand or grow. Of course, the members must maintain a strong relationship with the League through membership dues and hefty interest rates on any loans or financial assistance. 
While unquestionably powerful, the League doesn't particularly concern itself with politics. If they need a certain law altered or changed, they have enough wealth to grease the wheels of change, but they largely focus instead on making themselves as wealthy as possible.
