Aled

The Twin brother to Dela, Aled is the God of life. He and his sister were the first gods born to Thauma and Orvis. Aled has no children among the gods, but some legends tell of heroes he fathered.
In many ways Aled is a fertility god, in that his role is to make sure that life continues, that new plants, animals, and mortals are born. Creation is his chief concern.
His preists tend to be healers or agricultural helpers. Some become midwives. It is important to remember that even though life is thier chief consern, the clergy of Aled to not work against death. They know it is part of the cycle.
Aled's symbol is an hourglass with the top filled.
