Tulcarca Merchants' Guild
Formed by some business minded Naratoskin Karraskariak, the Tulcara Merchant's Guild exists to further trade among the nations of Thaumara. Most nations have a guild office, and merchants are smart to join. The Guild offers bonuses to those who deal with other guild members, and even has some level of insurance for lost cargo, and stipends for those who can no longer work in the business. Though their opponents often paint them as a criminal organization, the Tulcara Merchant's Guild's only goals are to further the ability of its members to trade.
There are rumors, though, that they have a secret arrangement with the Barataria Corsairs, as the corsairs rarely attack Tulcara ships.
Their crest is a merchant ship sailing the sea on a grey and violet barry invected sheild. Their colors, used on ships, are the same grey and violet with a chain in a circle to represent the unity of the guild, and a balance to represent fair trade.
Their motto, in common, reads: "Trade is the blood of society."
The current Guild Master is Basil Whiskerwind, and industrious murita with a head for numbers.
