Sun, Dawn, Light
- It is said that the sun is the throne of Pelor, and from there is where he looks upon creation. THose who are in the light of the sun, are bathing in the light of Pelor.
Fire
- Fire can be a tool of destruction, but also one of creation and life. It can warm or
destroy, and Pelor is the side that warms and creates. His fire is one of comfort and love,
and not one of hatred or destruction.
Pastoral
- There are those who say the stereotypical pastor, or cleric is the cleric of Pelor.
They heal and protect from evil while being kind and loving. Therefore it became
common for those who were praying for the safety of clerics to pray to Pelor.
Though not his true domain it became associated with him.
Life
- More than anything Pelor is the god of Life and Healing. It is said that the first life
a flower was created by Pelor, and that all life in one way or another is a gift from Pelor.
Though many gods have some association with life none is stronger than Pelor’s.
Peace
- War is a needless waste of life. Every war that occurs is said to wound Pelor, and he wishes for nothing more than an end to conflict. Among his fellow gods he was the
peace maker, and on Eovillia he hopes that peace will remain.
Holy Books & Codes
Pelor has only one book; it is called the Book of Light. The Book of Light was found in an ancient catacomb in the current day Great Western Unclaimed Expanse. It was written in ancient celestial and was heavily damaged. The ancient fathers of the pelorian church put together and reconstructed the manuscript into what it is today.
The Book of Light contains the teachings of Pelor and the Sanctity of life. It also has many fables of Pelors dealings with his siblings and of the fall of Asmodeus. The latter half of the Book of Light appears to have hymns and teachings on medicine and healing. It is considered one of the best sources of medical knowledge and therefore is a common sight on the shelves of doctors, even those who are not followers of Pelor.

Divine Goals & Aspirations
Pelor wishes to spread peace, and kindness across the realms. Life must be safeguarded, and suffering alleviated. His true goal is to unite the people of Eovillia under a banner of peace and love. Doing away with greed, and evil.
Pelor has a disdain for evil, and therefore is the natural enemy of demons, and devils. Though he hopes for the redemption of these creatures, he understands that for many the only way to be rid of them is to destroy them.
Being the Husband of the Raven Queen he has a special hatred for the undead. They are a perversion of both life and death, and therefore must be eliminated. Necormancers, and liches are especially hated.
