Divine Domains
Grave, Doomscribe, Doomguide, Reaper
-
When the dead pass on to the next life they are brought by her celestial entourage to the Fortress of Memories in the Shadowfell where they are tallied, judged, and sent on their way. It is her sole responsibility to be the eternal judge and watcher of those who pass on.
Moon
-
The Moon, also called Throne, is said to be her throne from which she sits watching over the Fortress of Memories. She holds dominion over Throne and its phases, whose phases reflect the separation of Eovillia, and The Shadowfell. The Full Moon is said to be the time when the two are nearly overlapping, while the New Moon is when the two planes are completely Isolated from one another.

Judgment, and Rest
-
The Book of Judgment, and rest is a complete checklist of sorts of how to properly care for the departed, and the steps one must go through in order to perform proper resurrection. Interspersed are stories of those who tried to gain an upper hand on the Raven Queen by either improperly following the rules, or defiling a corpse. In the last section one will find a large condemnation of necromancy, as well as a warning to those who may be tempted to take part in this unholy act.

Tenets of Faith
Show kindness, but not mercy to the Dying.
-
Death is the end of all things. Accept that it will happen, and show kindness to those who are dying. Listen to their final words, give them comfort and joy in their last moments. However, do not interfere and unnaturally prolong one's life. Death must happen and to allow them to run away will only make their delayed end all the more tragic and sorrowful.
Life like any story needs an end. Do not fear this end but welcome it with open arms.
-
Each life is a great tale of triumph, loss, joy, and sadness. Each more complex and satisfying than any tale one may find. However every story must come to an end. Death should not be feared and hated, but accepted and welcomed. Afterall a great story needs a good ending, let yours be worth the journey.
Take no joy in the death or suffering of others.
-
Though death is to be welcomed, take no joy in it. Though their story is at an end they may feel afraid, not ready, or frightened. Give them a kind ear and reminisce with them on their journey. Laugh with them over their moments of joy, and weep with them over their sorrows. You shall usher them into the next life, but do not allow them to suffer. Let their ending be one of comfort, and mourn that their story has ended.
Do not defile corpses.
-
Though the soul has left the vessel, it must still be cared for and properly retired. Whether cremation, or burial, make sure that the body is given the respect one must give to every being. To do otherwise is to wrong not only their soul, but all those who care for them.
Show no hatred for life, for death is it’s eternal partner.
-
Though you deal in death, life must not fall by the wayside. Just as The Raven Queen, and Pelor are forever bound in their holy union, Life and Death too are bound. Give healing to those who ask, look to save lives when you can, and never allow death when it could have been avoided. Care for those both dead and alive.
Destroy all undead wherever they may lie.
-
To cheat death via lichdom or necromancy is the ultimate sin against The Raven Queen. It not only defiles the corpse, robbing it of the rest it rightfully deserves, but spits in the face of the Raven Queen and the Balance she enforces. Ensure that those who rose to walk again are returned to the Raven Queen for their needed liberation, or deserved punishment.
Holidays
The Reunion
-
Every Solar Eclipse
-
The day in which the throne of the Raven Queen and Pelor may sit side by side again. It is considered a holy day of union and matrimony for the faithful in both the faiths of Pelor, and The Raven Queen. Marriages on this day are said to be blessed with harmony, and faithfulness. Gifts between lovers are often exchanged, and the moments of the eclipse are to be watched by all.
The Feast of Remembrance
-
The Spring Equinox
-
This is the day in which the stories of those who passed shall be remembered and honored. The family or loved one who died will tell stories of their loved ones to the communities, and their passing shall be mourned. Those who were either nameless, or had no one are given special care. The community shall give their condolences to these unfortunate souls as well as a name if needed. Then their passing shall be written in a book kept by the head cleric of the Community. IN the book everything that is known about the deceased is recorded, and a tear from an assigned mourner is pressed upon the page. This is so they will be remembered, when fate may have said otherwise. After Throne rises the community will hold a large feast under her light, where the favorite foods of the deceased are served for the community to enjoy.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
The Raven Queen has no high ambition nor lofty goals which she strives for. She watches over the dead with great precision, and gaurds the barrier between life and death. This is her greater purpose and duty. She has little time for other trivialities.
