Pearly Kapok
Description
A giant silvery kapok tree in the middle of Russet Crater. Being on a leyline node has caused this tree to grow to an enormous size due to increased aether flow through its root system, which has also granted it some magical properties. Due to its size, a group of myconids has taken up residence in its branches, which are several hundred feet long and a few dozen feet wide.
The Pearly Kapok is capable of amplifying magical energies due to its connection with the leylines, as aether flows through it as easily as water or nutrients do. Branches from this tree can be used to slightly boost the efficacy of other magical components that it is crafted with.
