Like most Eladrin, Rayla has the ability to change her appearance based on what "season" she is currently feeling. Unlike most Eladrin, however, she is known to change her season with little warning. Despite this, in times of crisis, Rayla is steadfast in doing everything she can to ensure her peoples' safety, even if that means asking for outside assistance. The people of Kindlhollow pride themselves in their independence from the outside world, as well as their self-sufficiency, but some situations require the help of outsiders, and Rayla is not too proud as to let her people suffer for the sake of this reputation.

Relationships

The Party

Upon first meeting the party, Rayla was in "winter", upset and unsure about the fate of her people. Since the party proved themselves capable and returned the pyre obsidian, Rayla has been in her "spring" season more often. After her interactions with the ARA, she has a newfound respect for helpful outsiders, and the people of Kindlhollow as a whole have started to see the outside world in a slightly more optimistic light.

Plot Events

"Reigniting the Hearth at Kindlhollow"

Rayla sent for the ARA when Kindlhollow's pyre obsidian was stolen by some strange bugs. Rayla sent the party into the nearby caves, lamenting that her people were too spread thin trying to prepare for the upcoming winter. When the party re-emerged from the cave victorious, Rayla was overjoyed, and immediately shifted to a much greener hue.
