Wood Woad

Profile

A wood woad is a wooden guardian formed when a person is sacrificed using a specific ritual, willingly or otherwise. The woad becomes bound to a specific duty, and is granted greater resilience and strength at the cost of their free will and sentimentality. A wood woad becomes immortal through this process, and should they see their duty completed, will move on to find another similar duty, generally seeking out those who are adept in the druidic arts in order to assist them.
