Profile

Xvarts are scrungly little guys. They're evil and hateful creatures, not very bright, and are easily intimidated. They will often steal and otherwise cause havoc. Due to their lack of physical prowess, Xvarts will most often be encountered in groups, and have been known to ambush people in an attempt to get the upper hand. Despite this, to seasoned adventurers, they pose little threat.

A group of xvarts is often accompanied by a small swarm of rats. The rats are not domesticated, but are rather attracted by the messes and scraps of food that the xvarts leave behind. Because of this, evidence of xvart activity can sometimes become obfuscated by the existence of rat footprints and lack of garbage that the xvarts would otherwise leave wherever they please.

Plot Events

"Trouble at Shelmont Stakes"

A group of xvarts appeared at Shelmont Stakes racetrack, causing a rat infestation and stealing gold jewelry. A few tieflings from the Cult of Mammon tricked the xvarts into stealing gold as a distraction from their own plot to steal the prized racing snail, Snecretariat. The group of xvarts was handily defeated by the party, and then driven out of the nearby forest where they had been taking up residence.
