Profile

Snecretariat is a racing snail at the Shelmont Stakes racetrack in Solem. They're widely regarded as the fastest racing snail of all time, and have garnered a lot of popularity with tourists from all over the Inner Planes. Shelmont Stakes has even started selling a line of merchandise depicting Snecretariat, including keychains, graphics tees, and plushies.

Relationships

The Party

Snecretariat doesn't really have much of an opinion about the party, other than the one who caries jars of jelly around. Snecretariat really likes jelly, as well as the glass jars the jelly comes in. Both are very tasty.

Joel Shelmont

Joel is Snecretariat's caretaker, and the snail is very appreciative of the care they receive. Sometimes they show this appreciation by getting slime all over Joel's jacket, which causes it to become unwearable the next day. Joel has at least two dozen backup jackets at home.

Plot Events

"Trouble at Shelmont Stakes"

After a group of cultists tried to steal Snecretariat, they quickly learned they were in way over their heads. The retired racing snail had a shell incredibly resistant to magic, and their attempts to put the snail to sleep did not pan out the way they expected. After getting scared half to death by Snecretariat's slow but steady approach and wildly-flailing... flails, the cultists were apprehended, and Snecretariat got to enjoy an entire jar of jelly as a reward, glass and all.
