Roduas Yllvrak

Born into poverty in the North Quarter of Orimear, Roduas grew up surrounded by fellow dwarves who suffered at the hands of policies dictated by the mage guilds. His parents immigrated to Kalamorn from Yllriim while he was still in the womb, but they perished shortly after his birth due to a strange illness. Thus, his whole orphaned life Roduas labored and walked beneath the gazes of the rich and powerful of Orimear. Despite the vengeance, his circumstances would encourage in most, Roduas channeled his energy into productivity, carrying on the tenents of his parents' faith in their deity Seronos. He founded The Third Hammer at 15, a dwarven guild dedicated to the craft of blacksmithing using techniques he learned from books his parents left behind. Roduas joined the University of Orimear at 16, becoming the first Dwarf to graduate top of the class just 4 years later. His story inspired both loyal supports and staunch opposition, and he continued to be a polarizing figure as he has continually climbed the hierarchy of Felclorian politics. This climb was punctuated by several exposes on the arcane, many of which impressed and frustrated his colleagues, who wondered how he had become so competent in magic in such a short time. By age 30, Rodaus commanded more than just a cult following, he was a respected figure in erudite circles and a popular philanthropist amongst the people. His popularity culminated in his election as Arbiter, following the destruction of the Aerial Chancel, becoming the successor of Valente Duchalis. Simultaneously, Roduas unveiled one of the most important arcane discoveries of modern magic: The School of Annihlation. Dubbed based on its properties that interfere with other schools of magic and its general unpredictability, Roduas discovered this secret after conducting several expeditions into the Void, utilizing Discordant Atyrite to delve deeper than others had previously. This School of Annihilation was the school in which Roduas become Arbiter, despite running in the election as the Arbiter of Transmutation. His opponent, Lancilious Geddenford, offered him the position in the newly discovered school after he won the position of Arbiter for the school of Transmutation.
