Ash elf
Ash elves are dark skinned, mysterious wanderers of Kahaan. Most ash elves live a nomadic and tribal life cloaked in ancient mysticism. While most ash elves keep to themselves some opt to connect with the rest of Artha often working as traders, guides, healers or mercenaries which they excel at.

- Darkvision. Accustomed to the pitch black desert night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
- Keen Senses. You have proficiency in the Perception skill.
- Fey Ancestry. You have advantage on saving throws against being Charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.
- Desert folk. You gain an advantage on all saving throws regarding dehydration and other hazards common in deserts.
- Ash Elf Resilience. You have advantage on saving throws against poison, and you have resistance against poison damage (explained in chapter 9 of the 5th Edition Players Handbook). As an ash elf you are also immune to the Kahaani Fever poison.
- Trance. Elves don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is “trance.”) While meditating, you don't dream. You might complete simple mental exercises that have become almost reflexive after years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
