The Gloomwalkers of Thraggolir, as a dwarven ancestor cult, worships Thraggolir, a historical dwarf turned demigod. Thraggolir was known for his strong connection to the deep places of the earth and the darkness it bound, the gloomwalkers seek to emulate his connection and mystical powers.

Divine Origins

The Gloomwalkers sprouted long after the death of Thraggolir. Ancient accounts of this legendary dwarf were found and captured the imagination of many of his kin. Some studied these texts and concluded upon a basic scripture of tenets and thus the cult was born.

Tenets of Faith

Earth. The earth is sacred and provides dwarvenkind with everything it needs, including a deep spiritual connection. Few delve deep into this connection, but those who do, do well to travel ever-deeper into the darkest depth in search of spiritual and mystical fulfillment. Shadow. The shadow harbours many dangers, all dwarves know of shadow's dark embrace but few see beyond the evil of shadow. The deep earth binds dark shadows, those who fear this inky blackness are prey to those who dwell in it. Embrace the dark depths and deep stygian shades and let it envelop your mind, only when you truly dance with the dark can one become the walker in the gloom, the hunter in the deep.
