Grand Earl
A position of rulership and nobility within the Kingdom of Aedeyne. Grand Earls are heads of Great Houses, who rule over lesser Houses and their lands. Earls swear fealty to a Grand Earl, while and Grand Earl swears fealty directly to the King of Aedeyne.
Responsibilities
The tasks are largely similar to that of Earls. In addition to these, they are required to monitor their bannerlords and administer justice when necessary. Oftentimes, Grand Earls are required (or demand) to perform additional tasks at the court of the King.
