Personal history
Hilde was rescued from the Scourge of Iron at the age of 14 by the personal retinue of Lord Argyle Thorn (then ). Her mother passed soon after as a result of infectious wounds suffered during their release. Hilde then served Lord Argyle Thorn as a personal Shieldmaiden for 8 years during which he split from his family to start his own house; Ouldthorne. Soon thereafter, Hilde was dismissed during allegations of an extramarital affair with her Lord.
Hilde while seeking work, befriends Lord Aethelmund Hammerhelm during festivities in the city of Fellwind where Hilde managed to overpower the young lord's assailants during a mock fight. The young lord then introduced Hilde to Earl Sigberth Hammerhelm, Lord of Fellwind and urged the Earl to take Hilde on as Shieldmaiden.
Since then Hilde has proven her worth and dedication on numerous occasions and swiftly rised to become the Earl's favourite.
