When the ancient human realm of Regia fell, many fled the chaos of the aftermath. They settled on the northern shores of the Crimson Sea, on the southern coasts of the Thesoldor continent, where they mixed with mainly tribal natives. From these people the realm of Aedeyne arose, distinctly different from their chosen ancestors. While the imperials of Aedeyne still live in a strict feudal society, they are considered much more free-spirited than their chosen cousins. Imperials are generally considered mild in their beliefs and customs and more pleasant to interact with compared to the more zealous and strict chosen.
