Shamash

Shamash, queen of cats, protector and companionship. The cat goddess was born from venom by Qaen-Re at the behest of Amun'atep. Gifted with the fierceness of her "father" and the kindness and mercy of her mother, she protects man and gods. Shamash keeps mankind safe from the jaws of hungry Mar-Aduk much like the desert cats hunting snakes and vipers.
