The Orcs
The Orcs, a largely peaceful race within the Ashen Lands, can be found throughout the mainland. While not generally the most intelligent, they are extremely resourceful, often found supporting caravans as they trek through the harsh ashen deserts, usually acting as scouts and bodyguards.
They are said to have come to the Ashen Lands long ago, likely even before the The Rupture, and records during the Grand Age often recount how pivotal they were in many battles against the Gnomes and Nighthumans. There loyalty to their home and those around them is without question. Lately, however, there is growing concern from caravans arriving from the deep south of orcs shrouded in darkness, embracing a primal nature deep within.
