The government of Etrana began and remains as a technocracy. While there is an elected president, a human by the name of Lucien Suchet, each body member including said president all have a background in technological science of one form or another. Such is required for most positions above simple office work.

While all nations are very technologically advanced, Estrana contains more of a focus than the other nations in terms of daily-life technological implications. Every minute detail can be thought of and technologically affected, and its citizens tend to hardly fathom any aspect of life without some sort of technological development. Examples include bio-tech trees, self-sweeping sidewalks, and all motion-detecting doors.
