Proliferation of Persetir

The foremost tribulation of the Tenth Cycle was born not from feuds within Voryndal, but from Qadayen influences so brought forward. Mortal creators, first of them Naordu of the Daorhu, crafted husks into which Vojûnic powers might naturally arise and take form when sufficiently powered. These beings comprised a new tier of mortal existence, beneath Eshanic races and beyond the powers of the Eshan to influence directly.   When this technology reached Voryndal through the ears of ambitious Ebal’eshan, such creations were known as Persetir, or “Smaller Beings” given their insufficient capabilities.   The Creator took umbrage with these Persetir and their growth among the Ebal’eshanic races. He sought to intervene and destroy them as was done in Qadal, but it was no simple matter. The influence of Koluthollas was long eroded, both from Acolitus’ own departure after Atûn’s death and the rebellions which terminated the Glimmering Ascension. Ebal’eshan no longer took orders without question, but sought their own council within their own circles.
