Amidst this ancient epoch, the once mighty Qazunari retreated in defeat from Qadal. Their sudden arrival was a great surprise to those in Voryndal, who long observed the battles between Aemarda and those who dwelled upon prototypical Nevan. Yet, the then recent departure of the Axodraharik and Syhlshei from Voryndal after the destruction of Axoggan brought about unexpected results. They arrived beyond the shores of Nevan after years of travel and chose to settle that land for themselves. A conflict lasting 40 years followed wherein the legacy of the Qazunari in Nevan was uprooted and destroyed. Now the Qazunari possessed no options nor allies outside the lesser world. Desparation and fear became their sole companions in travel. Around the year 1530, the Qazunari openly reoccupied the ruins of Omotollar at the heart of Zaregallis. This was their sole haven left in all Esha. The Ebal’eshan long left that place to utter ruin and spoke little about it. Nothing beyond wretching memories were recalled from that place, overshadowing the ingenius which Qazun plied within its chamber. Ancient generations of beasts which Qazun himself once created were the remnant denizens. It was surprising to see its chambers glow again with hearth-warmth. At this time, however, none among the Eshan considered it a dire change. The restoration of that desolate place was well lauded as a step toward healing and reconciliation in Esha, rectifying elder wounds whose legacy was darkened with greater wounds still.
Despite the optimism of the native Ebal’eshan, the Qazunari cultivated revenge and ambition in their hearts. Now enraged by their defeat against fellow Eshan, they endeavored to reap chaos among their complacent siblings in Voryndal. Their intention was to stir the peoples of the lesser half to war against the Alor’eshan, just as their desire had been to decimate olûndi in Qadal.
The greatest war among the Ebal’eshan billowed into hideous existence in response to the Qazunari’s preparations to invade Qadal. It was a tragic degredation of Voryndal’s tranquility. No consideration was shown for the gentle balance which the Ebal’eshan constructed to avoid such divisive power-mongering. Yet, the appeals of the Qazunari to their repressed brethren were powerful. Each among the surviving three testified to the beauty of Qadal and fertility of the world which the Alor’eshan selfishly created for their own creations. Meanwhile, the Ebal’eshan were and restricted to their own over-populated environs. It was a common and powerful summon. Before long, the Qazunari boasted a score of Eshanic allies and their olûndari races in allegiance.
In perceiving no greater recourse or mercy, the Ebal’eshan mobilitzed for war. A leader among them named Ihrenis was most vigorous in her efforts. She, like many of her siblings in Voryndal, was a veteran of the First Feud, and despised the further bloodshed wrought through Eshanic discord. The infamous rebellion of Zewilir some centuries prior radicalized her against futher Eshanic factionalism, and she witnessed the same characteristics in the Qazunari.
Noble Ihrenis and her ilk struck the first blow against the Qazunari. They departed in force from the area of Amoteras, from which Ihrenis hailed, and assailed the known bastions of the Qazunari with strike forces ranging from 2,000 to 5,000 warriors.
The suvivors of Ihrenis’ initial assault fled toward Omotollar, huddling around the tower’s base where the protection of the Qazunari was assured. The trio determined that attacking westward was the intelligent solution, as departing eastward might place them in renewed conflict with the Axokari whom they warred and lost against. Their strategy was to simply force themselves through whatever resistance they encountered on the march, confident that numbers alone could win the day. According to the numbers, there was fair reason to remain optimistic. The Qazunari and their allies commanded a united warhost of some 70,000 olûndari esseythu, sufficient to blanket the area around Omotollar and deplete its wildlife to nothing.
Word spread throughout Voryndal that the attack was to be launched westward, through Solemilis, then continued toward the Zolrassus and Qadal. Ihrenis and her allies were surprised in hearing the news. It was commonly expected that the Qazunari would depart eastward through Perdamus, following a route which was familiar to the Qazunari from centuries passed. She deployed fair numbers in that direction to block the passage, around 10,000 warriors, but they were now misplaced and distant.
The battle in Solemilis began with an outnumbered Ihrenari host against the concentrated masses of the Qazunari. Ihrenis and her allied judges of Ácolitus established their fortifications upon strong ground the in the western reaches of the continent. The ocean was just visible in the distance.
It was then that the allies of Ihrenis who were sent to Perdamus now arrived in Solemilis. Their numbers were somewhat increased from the journey through allied territory, bolstering them to around 13,000 warriors unfaltered from battle.
A bloody pursuit took the place of noble battle. Fleets of dark-wooden vessels surged westward, following the wind and rowing with all might. The Ihrenari and followers of Ácolitus pursued them upon their own ships, assisted with every measure of Eshara which could be provided to them. In Qadal, the Alor’eshan watched these developments with fear. The arrival of Voryndalian warriors would expose innocent minds to the existence of another world, but also become an untouchable threat until sufficient force could be especially rallied for the purpose.
Defeated, the Qazunari returned to Omotollar with intentions to recover some strength before departing at haste eastward, which was now open. Other survivors limbed there and once more gathered beneath the imposing bastion of Qazun’s creation.
“No greater fury was ever displayed against so innocent a bastion as Omotollar. The warriors of Ihrenis, Ácolitus, and the hordes besides clambered upon the white-stone foundation and navigated into the immense interior. They bore flames and steel with them, destroying everything which breathed or whatever structures stood freely. I witnessed how the blood washed across the step-worn rocks. The beasts were ripped asunder by sentient beings more bestial than they- bites were shred into their flesh by starving fighters.
I was fortunate to navigate into the inferno before everything was lost. Several etchings from Qazun’s own hand yet remained, which I took the greatest interest in protecting. Moss and dirt covered them near completely, but their value remained. As I attended to them, there was an astounding explosion of noise which rang through the halls. I clutched the etchings close and rushed toward the cause which was certainly not the doing of the olûndari warriors. Within the innermost chamber of Omotollar, where Qazun once conducted his experiments into power and life, there stood two opposing parties of Eshan. I recognized them all. Ihrenis led them, and beside stood Terikenyar, Nuloremar, Lesepia, Osmuro, and Vefengas. Of course, the three members of the Qazunari as well.
‘How sorrowful Qazun would be to see his children so disgraced’- Ihrenis said this, I remember that for certain. One among them responded with ‘Qazun died for us to create, not be prisoners to this place of desolation’ and then prepared for battle. Nothing more was said between them, but the greater numbers of Ebal’eshan swiftly overpowered the Qazunari, bathing them in hideous rainbow light. All three were consumed and nothing was left of them. The inner chamber was then left defenseless, and the minions of the victors tore apart whatever remained. Bolder warriors than others clambered upon the second tier of Otomollar, where land was like garden beneath a stone canopy upheld with massive grey pillars. Life yet existed there, growing in its own ways for centuries without intervention of outsiders. All these beasts were slaughtered, and their skins taken as prizes. Only the winged beasts were able to escape, and even they were targeted with projectiles on the retreat.
When all was annihilated within, all departed to the outside, where the remnants of the Qazunari camps remained. Ihrenis ordered that all fire, powers, and ruin be brought upon Omotollar so that it might never again attract those aligned against the Eshanic order. This was done without debate. For days thereafter, the worse of the despoilers had their joy with the ancient haven. Everything greener than black was torched and torched again, the interior gutted, and springs poisoned. It was so thoroughly destroyed that it appeared as a solitary mountain peak amid an ocean of grazing-land. No light emitted from it and the exterior was now a deathly grey.”

Gatherings of the Zolrassal - 3472
With the final destruction of Omotollar, the devastation of the Qazunari war was complete. Swathes of Voryndal were left a state of ruin unseen since the First Feud. Entire civilizations of Ebal’eshanic creation, painstakingly grown from soil and stone, were utterly depopulated. Fields of corpses and bones were left to molder. All three of the surviving Qazunari were slain in battle against Ihrenis’ allies, but they carried down many Eshan into the hideous vale of death. The Ihrenari were thorough in their victory and banished those few followers of the Qazunari who survived to remote and inhospitable regions. Any olûndi who those enbanished Eshan crafted were destroyed. Little word of these proceedings reached the Alor’eshan and their olûndari peoples. The death of the war reached genocidal proportions, annihilating more than a dozen sentient races and the civilizations they created. Those desolate places were left shrouded in shadow.
The destabilization of Voryndal led to a great Eshanic exodus to Qadal. Ironically, the same end Ihrenis wished to avoid became an inevitability, yet without the unity which the Qazunari wished to foster. In Qadal, the Alor’eshan and Corgastor strove to stymie those trespassing upon the greater half.
Growing from the ruin of the Qazunari war, the Lucitari formed behind the powerful figure of Lucemeties.
