Sinestra

The precise origins of Sinestra are uncertain, much like the other aspect spirits of Typhon’s destruction. It is known, however, that she originally hailed from southern Everos, ranking among the Grathon thereabout.   Unlike her companions-turned-rivals, Sinestra survived the annihilation of Typhon’s artifacts wrought by vengeful Corgastorian hands. In the midst of his final battle, the prophet Solomon hurled the gaunlets into the Wolonorend. He was cruelly slain moments thereafter by his companions who betrayed his trust and the Corgastorian warriors who desired Sinestra’s destruction.   Sinestra remained dormant until the year 3468, when news made its rounds across the continent that Syrgus Pyrgos, ancient son of Lysander Pyrgos, had returned to Othos seeking to restore Eurobia. What this meant for the Eshanic balance in Qadal was uncertain. For Sinestra, this was a tantalizing opportunity which could not be ignored. The ancestors took notice and became enraged by the trespasses of Sinestra against them.   Within a month of Sinestra’s awakening, chance brought the ancestors a means of retribution. A fellow named Phorastor was already present in the region. Azidael ambushed Sinestra with the assistance of Hirriat and Eryssis, causing a great battle of Eshanic powers between them. Further members of the mortal company joined the fray, but the true exchange was between the Nith’eshan and the Aspect Spirit. After a vicious exchange of blows, the sisters gained the upper hand against Sinestra and plunged their cruel knives into her vessel of flesh. In wrath, they poured their immense Eshanic energy into their strikes, breaking apart Sinestra’s essence and body. When the energy became too much to bear, her mortal form detonated with incredible force which destroyed the building and hurled back the assailants. This was her demise. What remained of her energy dissipated into the air and Void and was lost forever.
