The Glimmering Ascension

Scholars and thinkers in the esoteric subjects of Esha often perceive Voryndal as a despondant wasteland of unhappy wretches slaughtering one another for survival. While later epochs of disorder might support that belief, there exists a vast period, around 4,000 years, when the lesser half was equal to the greater.
This is known as the Glimmering Ascension, beginning in the Third Cycle and continuing until the termination of the Sixth Cycle. It is not a single event and cannot be spoken about within the context of a single period, but rather an era which spanned many eras.
