With the peace wrought by Ácolitus’ oversight, the Ebal’eshan were capable of turning inward to express a measure of unity. This manifested in a universal growth of olûndari civilizations on that half of the world, which proliferated into millions of individuals and hundreds of nations.
For the Eshan themselves, a tradition of time keeping, and general merriment was decided. It was known to them as Estemensis and came with each 1,000 olûndari years. The festivities entailed a cessation of hostilities, where ever and however they manifest in exchange for peace. More, the Eshan were expected to invoke their powers for the sake of growth and prosperity, constructing with love rather than destroying with malice. Olûndari cities and Eshanic palaces were adorned with natural ornamentation and luminescent spheres meant to represent the Eshor brought to the world. Above all these beauties was the magnum opus of the Ebal’eshan. They called it the Netaskolurom. It was an immense beacon meant to symbolically portray a ninth Eshor of Kolura, extending the perfection of the first formation to their own world. The Ebal’eshan increased its strength through their own powers, and Netaskolurom blessed Voryndal with calming warmth, life-granting powers, and mental clarity.
These events initiated the Glimmering Ascension. The precise meaning of that name is discussed elsewhere but suffice to say that Voryndal and its Ácolitus venerating hegemony were granted legitimacy through peace.
The peace of the Third Cycle was interrupted by the humiliation of Ahrinelas in -5543. This strange event gathered limited interest in those ancient years, save for some measure of sympathy for the victim, but illuminated the tensions which understrung that flourishing age.
