Euclid Guard
The Euclid Guard is the leading figure of worship of the Dawnbringer. They are highly trained warriors and clerics that protect Urman royalty and insure that the country is in the hands of responsible rulers.
Divine Origins
The Guard was created when Isac Arno Obenslauter wanted to explore the sea off the coast of Urmany, needing a crew to help him navigate it. He looked for the most dedicated to the liberation of Urmany during the War of Eethill and skilled followers of the Dawnbringer. They became the official protectors of Urmany's royalty and leaders of worship to the Dawnbringer.
Worship
To officially join the ranks of the Euclid Guard, one must show dedication by sacrificing their left eye, a symbol of both the Dawnbringer and King Isac. With the sacrifice done, they sware an oath to protect the innocent, to silence the voices who speak for fate, and to prevent the oppression and corruption of governing powers.
Sects
There are two major sects of the Euclid Guard, the Dawn Paladins, and the Solar Sworn. The Paladins take up most of the Guard, warriors trained with King Isac's unique dual-wielding fighting style and given the power to infuse their weapons with the light of the sun. The Solar Sworn are clerics who operate the temples dedicated to the Dawnbringer and are given the power to channel the Dawnbringer's divine power.
