Special abilities

Isac combined the elegant fighting style of his mentor, Ra, and the vicious tactics of Ares to create his own flowy and deadly fighting style. With this style, Isac was able to duel wield with ease, devastating any enemy that stands in his way.

Apparel & Accessories

A finely made traveler's cloak sporting Urmany's national colors is usually found on the shoulders of Isac, which would cover his steel splint armor.

Specialized Equipment

White Dragon Eye

Forged from the remains of the white dragon he and Fate's Bane defeated during the War of Eethill, the White Dragon Eye would allow Isac to regain his full sight as well as the ability to shoot a frost ray which would freeze enemies in their place.

Halo Harvester

A weapon given to Isac before he fought Azreal (an angel and member of Fate's Warriors), the halo harvester was a sickle made to destroy the halos of angels. It would be destroyed by Lady Fate in an early confrontation with her.

Ra's Sword

A sword handle, hilt, and pommel, which could summon a blade of condensed red fire when given the command "unity."

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Isac had a rough upbringing, his father was a high-ranking member of the military and would abuse both him and his mother. On Isac's 17th birthday, his mother handed him a knife and encouraged him to run away from Urmany before serving his mandatory service and to get away from his father. He ran to the nearby mountains where he met the Order of Ra, a religious group that taught him the concept of redemption through pain. Isac found his footing there and took up the name of Faruk, which his mentor called him. Faruk left the order after it was destroyed by a group of cultists, swearing to find and kill whoever murdered his mentor. This led him to the city of Glesa in Vuruesis, where he was kidnapped by pirates and met the other members of Fate's Bane.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Isac, with the resources and armies of several other nations of Great Eethill, liberated Urmany from the magical control of his father, King Peter. This event is known as the War of Eethill and ended with Isac trapping his father within a magical prison.

Failures & Embarrassments

Blinded by grief over his mother, Isac had followed his fathers instructions to bring her back to life, which involved giving him the very magic item which began the War of Eethill.

Personality Characteristics

Virtues & Personality perks

A born leader, Isac has charisma in his veins. He is well known for his speeches that can hype up or inspire any crowd, as well as for his luck and his skills in business.

Personality Quirks

Isac, since the beginning of his time with Fate's Bane, has been obsessed with a creature named "Bbeg" who he claims to be a giant orange octopus-man monster that aims to destroy the world. Several incidents have occurred due to Isac believing someone or something has to do with "Bbeg."

Social

Family Ties

Clara and Peter Obenslauter were the only family Isac had as a child, his other relatives being either distant or dead. After the events of Fate's Warriors, Isac married and had a son who he named after his mentor, Ra.

Mannerisms

After years away from Urman territory, Isac's accent had weakened. It was common for Isac to lose his accent altogether, especially during combat when he'd replace his accent with an entirely different one of unknown origins.

Hobbies & Pets

During a fight in a haunted mansion, Isac convinced a two-headed dog to betray its masters who were treating it terribly, and the two being inseparable since then. Isac named the dog(s) Horakhty and has gone on record stating that he never had a better companion, or royal advisor.
