Humans are the generic people of the Barren that need little explanation for reasons you should find incredibly obvious. Humans (also called mortals) were created during the mythological era of the Barren by a titan named Prometheus out of clay. Famously, Prometheus used a grail (now known as the Holy Grail) to wet the clay he was working with.
