Those who are struck down by Eldritch Storms have a chance of standing back up without harm; the storm's supernatural magic creating pink electrical scarring that web all over their body. They may still feel a buzz of power in their mark which, when focused on, releases a strange ability gifted to them from the lightning bolt. Individuals such as these are called Stormborns.
