After the murder of his brother, Erispoe at the hands of Salomon , Pascueten engineered the escape of the slain king's surviving child and heir, a ten year old girl Rozenn.
He returned to his lands in Broerec and to this day has refused to bend the knee to Salomon.

Despite this, the men of Broerec, along with their Lord, led the attack on the Frankish camp at the Battle of Brissarthe, charging uphill and ultimately routing the enemy.
The stern Lord of Broerec holds honour as the highest ideal. He has one son, his heir Ridoredh.
