Wise Toad
The Wise Toad was, as his name implies, a toad living in the Shire who was known by the animals living on the surrounding farms to have a high level of wisdom. Many animals would come to him for advice in their times of need.
During the Fallohide Genocide two chickens named Duppy and Cluck visited the Wise Toad in search of advice after they were driven from their home by a mob. The toad advised them to go to Farmer Maggot, who could keep them safe. Unfortunately, Farmer Maggot had already been killed by this time, rendering the Wise Toad's advice obsolete.
