Isengriff and Lindonrow are transported by Spookmaster deep into the universe's past to the gods' first creation- Middle-Earth. There they encounter the dark god Tom Bombadil, who begins manipulating them towards some horrible end. They also decide to kill Sauron and 'befriend' the Fellowship of the Ring.
