The Kingdom of Agobard
When one mentions the country of Agobard, you think first of wine, beautiful fields, affluent peoples, bustling ports and grand architecture. A typical Aewithian thinks about the peace. Agobard has stayed out of the Agruan war and even has a prosperous trade relationship with the Empire. But Agobard is far from peaceful. Since the elves retreated back to their forest, the Lupica peoples and the Itavus peoples have been battling each other over a claim to their ethnic homeland. After a war that nearly destroyed the populations of both sides, they came together through a marriage and formed the nation of Agobard. But tradition runs deep in Agobardian blood. They don't forget the blood feud of the past thousand years so easily. Tensions are high as the Lupica and Itavus battle for control of the Monarchy and the trade industry.
Structure
The King and Queen rule alongside each other as equals. One is the child of the previous monarch while the other married in from one of the noble ethnic leaders. It alternates each generation. Agobard has a small constitution that attempts to form a fair and balanced system for both ethnicities. But the constitution is vague and subject to corruption. Power among the nobles is small, but it greatly increases depending on if that Noble's ethnicity has a monarch in power.
Public Agenda
To unite the Lupica and Itavus peoples under the same flag.

Gold, wine, olive oil, weapons, castles, ports, ships and titanium
History
Two thousand years ago, the war between the Itavus and Lupica tribes was at an all time high in brutality. Women and children were not spared from the carnage. Any imagery of an ethnicity was wiped out by the other. During this time, a prince from the Itavus tribe and a princess from the Lupica were having an affair. They were found out by their parents and saw no choice but to defend themselves and their love. They ascended the throne after the deaths of their parents and revealed their affair as well as their intention to get married. Using the Church and divine favor as tools to quell the public, the two drafted a constitution that they hoped could bring peace to the land. Unfortunately, they were a little vague with their wording and thus, the tribes still fight via politics and business.
Demography and Population
16,813,656. Both the Lupican and Itavi Ethnicities make up about 47% of the population each. The other 6% is made up of immigrants and a small vampiric population among the nobles.
Territories
Agobard maintains the fields and wetlands in the South of Aewith as their territory. The Khanterz forest makes a border to the north. THe rest is surrounded by ocean, as it's a large peninsula.
Military
The Military of Agobard is a standing army of soldiers donated by the Noble class. They either act as guards for the territories under their noble's jurisdiction or wander the landscape as Knights-Errant that settle inter-ethnic quarrels, deal with demon attacks and practice a strict code of neutrality and chivalry. Naval defense often has to come via a sponsorship from a noble.
Technological Level
Agobard is no more advanced than most of its neighboring states, save for a few areas in stonecutting, cattle herding, architecture, pottery techniques and wine production. However, its military is severely lacking.
Religion
The origin of Agobard is heavily attributed to Ineas, Goddess of Society and her daughters, Tiana, Goddess of Fertility and Elena, Goddess of Family. Agobardi people also worship Rhutar and Krisaiah's son Fodon, God of Wine, Serranir, God of Power and Rhutar's daughter Edsyn, Goddess of Music.
Foreign Relations
Agobard has long held trade relations with both sides of the Agruan Crusade as well as Drovia and some countries from Xaukreman and Sukora.
Agriculture & Industry
Agobard's economy mostly revolves around the production of olives and grapes. It's agriculture, beyond basic production of staple crops, is relegated most to olive, grapes and raising cattle, allowing them to produce cheese. There's a huge amount of titanium in the country's land as well as marble and limestone. Items made from clay like pottery are sold off as works of art. Those grapes and olives are distilled into olive oil and wine, which is the country's main money maker. Wine from Agobard is world famous and highly prized internationally.
Trade & Transport
The Agobardi have a basic road network and make use of horse-pulled wagons to transport things by land. By sea, they build ships. Though, their ship building capabilities are nowhere near that of Agrua's or Nethylor's.
Education
There is no form of standardized education, so Nobles and merchants must pay tutors to teach their children. Peasants are left with nothing while Artisans have to resort to apprenticeships.
Infrastructure
The Kingdom maintains the roads, bridges, walls and safety of large cities, but rely on Nobles to take care of local infrastructure.
