Humans

Humans are the most numerous race on the East continent and populate all of its provinces. They can be members of almost any Caste, and they vary wildly in appearance. Their position in the social hierarchy depends far more on family history than anything else, in stark contrast to the other races. Humans tend to follow the language and naming conventions of the area they're in. The majority now take aasimar-style names, although a number (particularly in the south-east, in the area of the bamboo belt which was once a human kingdom) retain old traditions.
