Dream a Dream of Me

On this night, the Dreamer leaves the Material Plane, and travels beyond. Through the Ethereal Plane, where his dreams are often transferred, and into the Plane of Air. Piercing its winds, he moves on to the Plane of Water, followed by the Plane of Earth, and then the cleansing purity of Plane of Fire.

To the Boneyard, where Groetus' moon hangs low, and Pharasma glares at her hourglass, the top reaching ever-close to empty.

To the city of Axis, bastion of law, and then to the caverns below, where the demon spawn is birthed from the Abyss. But still, Zandarul goes farther, to a ghostly city at the edge of the Mirror, in the Silence Between Thoughts & Breaths.

He ignores the wailing from the ivory palace, and a fate yet sealed, and heads to the Garden of Silence. The wolf at the door pays him no heed, as the Dreamer places three knocks at the door, but receives no answer. So instead, he asks a question...

Zandarul: “Fair Gardener, might I enter your hall? I have permission from the Centurion, but I know your schemes well.”

The wolf says nothing, the Garden of Silence remains silenced. But a flower grows from a nearby tree -- starting as an emerald branch, and bursting into ivory petals. The Dreamer coos, and the dream fades.
