Personal history

In the Sauna , Gaier was a member of Varos Mining Team 1, acting as the team’s Blaster. He was considered one of the best among his cellmates -- meaning that he had all ten of his fingers -- and kept a low profile. Although he did not speak of his past, many in the Sauna believed Gaier was a government agent of the Pact Worlds.
After the Dream Team hired Mining Team 1 one as contractors, Gaier revealed that he was once an Ops agent in the Stewards. He was given an order to do something for the "greater good", but refused -- earning him a dishonorable discharge and a lifetime sentence on Varos.
As an adventurer, he fills a similar role to the one he had in prison, and seems to have advanced training in electronics and explosives.
