Blaster
A Blaster is responsible for handling mining explosives for the teams on Varos, and clearing large rubble with their small following of mining droids. Given the wild flames on the moon’s surface, Blasters are often considered to be a bit crazy, and more than a few have died in a sudden combustion while on an expedition.
Blasters work closely with Scouts – who determine the best locations to place their explosives – and Suits – who often aid in the upkeep of their mining droids. Blasters are given 3 C4/Semtex explosives when they arrive at Sauna Station, and any remaining explosives are confiscated upon their return. Additionally, a Blaster is given 3 simple Drones (HP: 1, AC: 18, Fly 30 ft.) which help them swiftly and safely place and charge their explosives. Commanding a Drone is a free action, and the Drones act on the Blaster's initiative.

Special Actions
Emergency Modification (Move or Full, See Text): You grab one of your nearby Drones out of the air, and strap an payload to their chassis. This payload can include any item that weighs under 1 bulk, which includes a water canister from a Camel pack, most tools and light weaponry, ammo, or a C4/Semtex explosive (requires a DC 15 Engineering check to successfully rig each explosive, detonates on a natural 1). This does not take movement away from the Drone, which can travel immediately upon release. It is a standard action to remove an item from a Drone, regardless of mining role. As a full-round action you can attach up to 3 bulk to a Drone, although its moving speed is halved at 2 Bulk, and quartered at 3. It Got Lost (Swift): If your Drone is carrying a C4/Semtex explosive, you can detonate the payload from afar, using a radio transmitter embedded in your suit.
