Hannet is one half of the duo known as Bane's Children, best known for his ability to devour weakened Dread Barons and absorb them into his spiritual form.

Personal history

Although some scholars are content to consider Hannet a familiar of Neiva, those who specialize in the field of outsiders recognize the two as an equal pair -- specifically two halves to the same coin. That being said, historically Hannet seems to follow his partner's lead, acting only when necessary, and speaking only under great duress. In 37 AG, a linguist present during such a rare event noted that the creature bears an accent very similar to the lost people of Garund, leading many to believe that the spirit originates from Golarion.
