Ox Sarge
Many decades ago, Sarge was an all-star pitcher, capable of throwing a baseball over 100 mph. He shattered bats with his mighty straights, and umpires doubled-up on gloves when Sarge was at the mat. Nothing could stop him on the field – until a car accident killed his wife and infant daughter, and cost him his pitching arm.
Sarge spent two months in the hospital, followed by four months in a psychiatric ward, before he was deemed capable of returning to modern life, and pushed out on the street. Within eight hours he found the man who caused the accident, beat his teeth into his spine, and threw his severed head off the tallest building on Verces.
In the Sauna, Sarge is a member of Mining Team 5, acting as the team’s Ox. He doesn’t talk much, and doesn’t cause any trouble, which suits the rest of the team just fine.
