Ashen Ascendancy

Homebase: Veropia Building: The Ashen Tower Houses: The Great Library Halls of the Ashen Courts: Description: Besides the School, There are three main groups within the Ashenites. The Order of the Five Courts (Ashen Council), The Council of Chancellors (A political group) and The White Council. Once you have graduated the initial schooling you are granted the title of Mage (except Lyceum & Bard schools or Universalists). Schooling may continue. If you continue your learning and you graduate, you become a Sage or High Wizard. If you choose politics, a Cancellarii. At these levels you may now join the Ashen council.
Ashen Council - made up of the Cancellarii or high Wizards of each courts of magic. Does not include the Court of the Artifice. The primary responsibility is concerning the running of the schools as professors or administrators. For those who become Cancellarii, they may become Solicitors once they pass reviews. They can then join the members of the Council of the Chancellors
Council of the Chancellors - Made up of Solicitors from each of the Courts of Magic as well as the Court of the Artifice. With a high Solicitor chosen by the Grand Solicitor and approved by the Empress. The Council of the Chancellors are often consulted by the Senate of Veropia 
White Council: Chosen by the Empress and made up of the 6 High Solicitors of each Court & the 1st Grand Solicitor: Mirtlif

(Although the courts of the Tomes and Artifice are under the Ashen courts. Members are not required to join the Ashenites as they cannot become a High Mage. But if they choose to join they cannot move up the ranks and only take on lower Administrative or menial jobs. The Court of Artifice can only have members in the White Council and the Council of Chancellors )
