Havaki - Guardians of the Vales

Race: Vangur-Hellir (Dwarven) Sub-race: Vaakii (Ice Dwarves), Culture: Vaakii: Guardians of the Vales. No longer will inter marry with Ice Dwarves Description: The Vaakii are known for their gruff demeanor but also see themselves as the keepers of the Sacred. They tend to live in colder areas but can live pretty much anywhere. Vaakii are an offshoot of the Phyhavaki they became knowledgeable about the gods of the humans and took on the faith. Their cities surround the area of the navel where the avails make their home they are the self proclaimed protectors of them.  The Vaakii & Pentega come from the same stock. The Vaakii are known for their gruff demeanor but also see themselves as the keepers of the Sacred. They tend to live in colder areas but can live pretty much anywhere.             Racial Traits: Constitution +2                                 Wisdom +1                                 Toughness: HP +1 per level Relations: They are a little suspicious of any dwarves that come from the deep. Tolerate the Pintegas & Phyhavaki as they are from the same stock. They have actually had very little interaction with the Vales, but claim they are their protectors. They do not speak of the vales to anyone.             Alignment: Lawful             Lands: Colder northern regions             Religion: They are strict adherents to Valinos, Can be very fervent and missionary minded. They believe in Nekcrom and live their lives to his destruction. They believe in Modirheilgar, The Dwarven name for the Mother God. they give her (usually refereed too as Her) Respect but would be hard pressed to find a follower among the Vaakii. They also believe in Harbard, but don't trust him and usually refer to him as the Trickster.              Language: They speak a dialect of Vangur-Hellir. Most can speak common. Society & Culture:             Arts & Crafts: Extremely well known for their singing             Magic & Technology: Magic is very foreign to them & have had very little dealings with it. They are aware of it and have seen it with there cousins but have had little to do with it.
