Biography

Throughout all of the various myths and legends within Iberia, there are few that match the significance of the one between of Tiamat, Bahamut and Jötunn.
Known to have slain Tiamat's avatar in the Ebb of Scales conflict, Bahamut was gravely wounded and was unable to be found afterwards. The remainder of the chromatics were relegated to current the regions of the Dragonics Isles, where they bided their time till the next conflict.
Despite his grievous injuries and disappearance, his edicts and belief are still worshipped by minor settlements within the Dragonic Isles and other regions. Bahamut's edicts are closely tied with those of great heroism and desire to accomplish and overcome insurmountable odds. To adhere to the ideals of Bahamut is to be selfless and attain a deeper understanding of one's character, and comprehend the duality of the nature of humanity.
Similar to how Tiamat is the mother of all the chromatic dragons, Bahamut is the father of all metallic dragons.
Instead of living as a dragon, many of the metallics and even Bahamut himself will live as other intelligent creatures. Some will live as humanoids without any knowledge of their dragonic heritage for an extensive period of time. Considerable amounts of them would continue this tradition till the end of their humanoid life.
Bahamut was known to adopt other forms of intelligent creatures other than just humanoids. One written account attests to his ability to soar into the skies above as a translucent spectral blue whale, for he often disliked adopting his original form.
In present-day Iberia, his followers within the Dragonic Isles are known to worship him in secret. There are no shrines that are dedicated to him, but boundless fields of silver or platinum-colored lavender flowers.
