History

Tiamat's dominon over the seas of Iberia had regressed to the Red Sea by the Jötunn Giants, Bahamut and along with their respective followers and fellow divine alliances.
Her reign throughout Iberia was once prevalent enough to claim it in its entirety. Through her innate ability to create new life, she gave rise to dragonic-like creatures from the surface of the Red Sea. Through this action, she was able to lay claim to the vast majority of the Iberian continents.
As Tiamat's authority ran rampant throughout the seas, many of the divines sought ways to overthrow her influence. While many attempted to do so, few knew how to contest her might. It was only through the Green Dragons, who betrayed Tiamat and allied with Bahamut, were they able to finally overthrow Tiamat's reign.
A united front between the Jötunn Giants,Bahamut's Metallic dragonic children, and the various divinities that sought to overthrow her rule would later be established. They would fight a battle on all fronts that would last for hundreds of thousands of years until a decisive surprise strike by Bahamut's Avatar felled Tiamat's Avatar at the Red Sea.
Bahamut was able to avoid detection by hiding his presence within the Leylines in the sky -granted to him by the Green Dragons. Others would follow after Bahamut, joining the battle between the two dragons.
The battle led to the loss of Tiamat's Avatar and most of her global influence within Iberia. Bahamut's Avatar was heavily injured and the vast population of the Jötunn Giants were eradicated.
The power vacuum left by Tiamat's defeat was quickly swept up by other divines. The remaining chromatic dragons would then retreat to the Dragonic Isles to slumber until the birth of the Chromatic Dragon and The Dominion Wars.
